While the aesthetics may not appeal to everyone, I found the minimalist décor refreshing, allowing the surrounding beauty of the city to shine through during my explorations. My room featured a lovely balcony that provided natural light and a cheerful ambiance, although I must mention the clanging church bells took some getting used to. Despite these minor inconveniences, I appreciated the great value at just $25 per night and enjoyed unwinding on the terrace. Given my focus on sustainability as an environmental scientist, the hotel's dedication to familial service and responsible tourism truly resonated with me. I will recommend this spot to fellow travelers seeking an affordable, centrally located, and character-filled stay in the heart of Guanajuato.
